Dry vs Fully Cured.
With traditional water-based finishes, every new coat applied slightly softens the layer beneath it, meaning the entire system must slowly cure from the bottom up.
While the surface might feel dry to the touch within a few hours, dry is not the same as cured. UV Rush uses a UV‑cured polyurethane system that delivers commercial‑grade strength and allows the final cure to be completed the same day as the final coat. Because the finish is cured instantly using UV light, the floor is ready for use as soon as curing is complete, making it ideal where strength, longevity, and minimal downtime matter.

As a general guide, a 50–80m² floor is typically completed over three days, while larger areas around 100m² usually require four days. Day one is dedicated to sanding. On day two, sanding is completed and a sealer coat is applied, followed by a second coat around an hour later for Home Hybrid or UV Rush systems. On the final day, the UV Rush top coat is applied in the morning, with the final UV cure completed in the afternoon. With UV Rush, the floor can be used immediately after the final cure, on the same day as the final coat.
